When joining a Bedrock Server, it's important that the date and time on both the server and your device match. If not, then your server won't allow you to join, and you'll get an error message that looks like the following:
HOW TO UPDATE YOUR SYSTEM TIME
In order to resolve this, you just need to ensure that the date/time on your device is the same as on your server.
PC (Windows 11)
- In the bottom right of your taskbar, right-click the date/time and then select the Adjust date and time.
- Ensure that the options Set the time automatically and Set the time zone automatically are turned on.
- In the event that the time zone is wrong, you can disable this and select change it to your current time zone.
- Press Sync Now, under Synchronise your clock.
PC (Windows 10)
- In the bottom right of your taskbar, right-click the date/time and then select the Adjust Date/Time.
- Ensure that the options Set the time automatically and Set the time zone automatically are turned on.
- In the event that the time zone is wrong, you can disable this and select change it to your current time zone.
- Press Sync Now, under Synchronise your clock.
Apple
- Navigate to your device settings.
- To Date & Time.
- Ensure that the Set automatically option is selected.
Android
- Go to your phone's settings.
- Go to the System settings (near the bottom of the list).
- Select the Date & time option.
- Ensure that Use network-provided time is selected.
