Once your Risk of Rain 2 server is configured the way you would like it to be you're ready to join. There are two methods you can use to join your Risk of Rain 2 server, using the developer console or through the in-game server list.
Obtaining your Server IP
In order to connect to your server using the developer's console or Steam Server viewer, you will need to know both the server IP and port. These can both be found in your server's Multicraft control panel.
Once logged in you will be able to find your server's IP and port next to Server Address.
Joining via the In-Game Server List
It is possible to join without your server's IP if you use the in-game server list.
- Launch Risk of Rain 2 and click Multiplayer.
- Click Join Multiplayer Game.
- Set the Sorting dropdown to Name.
- Locate and click on your server.
- Enter the server password if you have one configured, then click Join Server.
Joining via the Developer Console
Once you have obtained your server's IP and port you can connect to your server directly using the in-game console.
- Launch Risk of Rain 2.
- Press the Ctrl + Alt + ` (tilde) keys.
- If your server uses a password, enter
cl_password <ServerPassword>.
- Enter
connect <Server IP:Port>, and press the Enter key to connect.
