You may have a particular BepInEx mod or modpack that you would like to use on your Risk of Rain 2 dedicated server. Fortunately, Shockbyte servers support Risk of Rain 2 BepInEx modding.
Note: Mods tagged as server-side should never be installed on your game client, and vice versa; Mods tagged as client-side should never be installed on your server.
Installing Mods on your Server
In order to install BepInEx mods on your Risk of Rain 2 server you will first need to download them from Thunderstore. After downloading your desired mods, you will need to upload them to your server using FTP.
- Access your control panel and Stop your server.
- Login to your server via FTP, we recommend using FileZilla.
- Navigate to
/BepInEx/plugins/.
- Upload your mod folders to
/BepInEx/plugins/.
- Access your control panel and Start your server.
