Custom names allow you to identify your server in the in-game browser list, allowing you to differentiate from all other dedicated servers. This configuration option is especially useful if you plan on playing with friends as there are many other servers on the in-game server browser.
Changing Server Name
Your server name can be set by editing your Risk of Rain 2 Server Settings using your server's control panel.
- Access your control panel and Stop your server.
- Navigate to Files > Config Files.
- Click Risk of Rain 2 Server Settings.
- Located the Server Name field and enter your desired server name.
- Save and Start your server.
