This article guides you through the process of installing plugins to your Rust server. You will need to install Oxide on your server before continuing. For the purpose of this guide, we are going to use the plugin Gather Manager, however, these steps will work for any plugin you wish to install.
If you want to install plugins on your Rust server, you can follow these steps:
- Find your desired plugin on the UMod.
- Press Download on the right-hand side. This will download a file named similarly to
PluginName.cs
- Login to your FTP File Access by opening your control panel and navigating to Files > FTP File Access
- Open the directory
/oxide/plugins/ - On the left-hand pane, click Upload
- Under the Files section, press Browse and select the downloaded
.csfile
- Press Submit then navigate to the main page of your control and start your server
If you have followed these steps properly, the plugin should be loaded and functional after the server starts.
